<p style="text-align: justify;">Basically the problem lies with the person himself. He makes certain mistakes due to which he does not meet his own set target. Some of the common mistakes that people make are:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Setting unrealistic goals</strong>: Most of the persons who fail to achieve expected weight loss are the ones who do not set realistic goals and also do not keep a track of their progress. They often set high targets to be achieved within short time period. They think that through their diet programs and other weight losing methods they can lose weight immediately. But it does not happen in reality.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For instance, people set up a goal of losing 10 pounds within a week or getting a perfect body shape within a month. This is something unrealistic and hence people fail to achieve it. That further leads to disappointment and frustration.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So, in order to avoid this situation it is very important that one goes for a weight loss target that is logical and achievable. For instance, you can set up a goal to lose 1 to 2 pounds every week. However, in this case also there are possibilities that on some weeks you do not lose any weight, instead you may gain few pounds on some other weeks. Hence, it becomes very important to keep a track of your progress.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To keep a progress record, you can prepare a diet chart where you can maintain your progress in weight loss. This will help you to understand whether you are progressing towards your goal or simply going against it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Confusing dieting with abstinence:</strong> Very often dieters confuse healthy dieting with abstinence. In the name of dieting, they starve themselves by eating as minimal as possible. But then they do not mind going for junk foods that is most unhealthy and unfavorable for weight loss. You should abstain from taking junk food. However, occasional intake of these food items in smaller quantities may not be harmful.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">By simply cutting down ones food intake does not result in healthy weight loss. There are many persons who avoid their regular meals in order to lose weight. But this is not at all good for health, infact in the long run it may result in some health disorders.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So, go for healthy and natural weight losing way. You can have mini meals comprising healthy food items that are nutritional and free from fats and other contents that result in weight gain.</p>
